COLOMBIAN FRUITS

It is ovoid, 4 to 6 cm in diameter, with a yellow, orange or brown skin, covered with small and fine spines or "hairs". Internally, it is divided into four compartments separated by membranous partitions, filled with greenish or yellowish pulp and numerous small, whitish seeds.

LULO

it is a cactus plant, and as such, resistant to droughts. The plant is a succulent, rustic cactus with long triangular stems. Feeding on the humidity of their bark and climbing up the branches eight or ten meters above the ground without penetrating the ground.

PITAHAYA

The main use is its fruits, which are eaten fresh or made preserves and canned fruits, mainly in Central and South America. In Colombia, for example, mamoncillo is consumed fresh and is even used to prepare canned refreshing drinks.
